Regional Reflections - Gwenaelle Villette

France is seeing a huge increase in demand for LED, especially for large Direct View LED video walls. Whereas two years ago we were receiving orders for a lot of 6x3 configurations, today bigger is better as we see requests for 10x5, 20x5 and upwards. This is mainly because the cost of LED integration is decreasing, integrators are more comfortable with installing the technology, pixel pitches are getting ever smaller and picture resolution even better and, compared to 10 years ago, there are more quality LED brands with local knowledge and support. For these reasons, dvLED is becoming more of a viable option for projects no matter how large or small, how simple or complex, whether indoor or outdoor. However, dvLED video wall integration does still have its challenges; one being that there is no standardisation. Each LED brand has different size cabinets and fixing points. This means that no project is the same, and this is why choosing a partner that has the expertise in specifying, designing, manufacturing and delivering a dvLED video wall is so important.

At Peerless-AV we’re proud to say that we’re ahead of the competition with our SEAMLESS dvLED Video Wall Integration programme and our expert team have all round, in-depth knowledge of all the LED brands we work with. Our mounting systems offer the highest levels of adjustment on all 3 axis, which means they can create a flawless video wall finish regardless of the wall surface (see below pictures). This is where we’re really leading right now - with our LED specialism, support, training and project site support at a local level. We can be anywhere for any application, whether corporate, education, transportation, retail or hospitality. There are so many exciting installs in progress and in the pipeline with major LED brands such as Samsung and Absen. Get in touch with Cedric Leoture or myself today to find out how we can make you’re LED project a success!
