The outbreak
of Coronavirus has impacted all of us in one way or another and has changed the
way in which we all work. People and businesses have become much more
comfortable using VC platforms that they may not have used before, and now
they’re an integral part of our daily lives. It has most definitely changed the
way in which I work, making virtual meetings such an essential part of my day.
Being the social salesperson that I am, I’d go crazy not being able to see
friendly faces, interact and nurture the customer relationships that are so
important to me and the business.
The change
in product demand has been significant during this period. Customers are asking
for products such as our VCM580 video conferencing solution, mobile trolleys
and kiosks more and more to support their internal and external digital signage
strategies, and we are committed to providing for and driving the change in the
market trend.
In the UK,
we have seen a slower uptake in our northern, compared to southern, business
owing to the local lockdowns and restrictions they have in place. We’ve also
noticed that some of our customers are starting to request “face-to-face
socially distanced” meetings. We’re happy to support this provided all the
safety measures are in place. The well being of Peerless-AV employees and their
families has always been the priority and will continue to be.
We all thrive
on social interaction at events, trade shows and meetings and, at Peerless-AV, we
are positive and hopeful that, by working together and supporting each other, using
the right technology and tools, the industry will survive. So get in touch…see
