Surely everyone has a soft spot for Amsterdam. Yes, I live
in Holland, so I’m biased, but it’s renowned for being one of the most liveable
/ loveable cities in the world, and I’m sure many agree. Its lure is growing
fast in the tech space, attracting the best tech talent for its top-notch
start-up and tech ecosystem as well as world-class digital infrastructure. Already
a hub for many of the global tech giants, many smaller innovative corporates
and start-ups are opening new premises in the city, which is presenting
exciting new business opportunities for us as a manufacturer. Working with
major AV distributors such as Van Domburg Partners (VDP), with a focus on international
accounts and logistics links throughout Europe, we have a great opportunity to
grow our brand and increase market share in the Benelux region.
The tech scene in Holland is like no other in Europe and
this makes the country a hot bed for creativity innovation and a testing ground
for new, ground-breaking products. It also lends itself to smaller, more
adventurous, outdoor customer events; something that VDP – part of the Midwich
Group – is very good at.
It's more important than ever to ensure events generate ROI and grow sales. There’s no better way to do that in this region than by hosting small events, targeted at a specific vertical or product category. They attract the right people and are easier to measure. As a brand on the VDP portfolio for almost 9 years now, we have seen year on year growth and our competitive position is improving all the time. Integrators still contact us directly, but we direct them to buy through distribution to receive the best support and pricing available.
As we look to 2023 and beyond, we are in a good position for
sustainable growth, and we anticipate a wider landscape of distribution with
more focus on our high-end products. These are the door openers with
integrators. Although mounts are at our core, the products that excite them are
our emerging technology range, which includes Outdoor Displays, Kiosks and
dvLED mounting systems. Acceptance of new technologies generally takes longer,
but our strategy is paying off here.
Some recent projects we’ve secured include over 40 Indoor
Kiosks with integrator Whitemilk bvba for town hall locations throughout the
city of Brussels and Outdoor Digital Menu Boards for wayfinding and advertising
at GaiaZOO, Kerkrade, Netherlands.
