We are absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted in the 2016 Install Awards in the Best Hospitality Project category for our Walkabout Video Wall Installation with AV specialists Sound Power Ltd. The Australian-theme bar chain, Walkabout, refurbished 11 of its 24 venues in the UK with the aim to create a unique, friendly, fun atmosphere. Sound Power was hired to bring their vision to life with the latest AV technology.
The most impressive feature was the new 5x2 'wow factor' video wall which was installed at the rear of the bar with neon lighting surrounding it. For the supply of screens and mounts Sound Power called on Owl Visual who specified Samsung DB48 and DB40 Slim Direct-Lit LED Displays and DS-VW765-LAND Full-Service Video Wall Mounts from Peerless-AV.
The DS-VW765-LAND Full-Service Video Wall Mounts are easy to configure, quick to install and simple to maintain. The mounts support displays ranging from 40" to 65" with a maximum load of 57kg (125lb).
The Walkabout project was a great success all round, giving the chain a differentiating factor and giving us an opportunity to enter into the Install Awards - recognising excellence across the pro-AV industry. Held on the 24th June the at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London, the Install Awards will be a spectacular event.
